Avenue Magazine Welcomes New Publisher
MARCH 17, 2014 — RedPoint Media & Marketing Solutions is proud to announce that respected magazine executive Joyce Byrne has joined our team today as Publisher of Avenue magazine. Joyce will be responsible for the entire Avenue brand in Calgary, including the award-winning magazine and all its digital channels, as well as Avenue’s signature annual events including Best Neighbourhoods, Best Restaurants and Top 40 Under 40.

Joyce comes to RedPoint after nine years as vice-president and associate publisher at Venture Publishing, based in Edmonton, where her main focus was Alberta Venture magazine along with several other titles. Prior to that, she was publisher of the highly influential Toronto-based national title This Magazine. She also served as a director of the national industry association Magazines Canada from 2002 to 2012.
