The Calgary Flames recently became RedPoint clients. Needless to say, the hockey fans among our creative team are giddy as kids. The whole office is excited, too, because this is an opportunity to do great work in collaboration with one of the city’s most recognizable brands. We pitched two creative concepts to the Flames…and they gave us the green light on both.
The franchise is promoting its premium suites — private rooms at the Scotiabank Saddledome that groups can rent on a per-game basis to celebrate a special occasion, host a client meeting or just have a memorable night out. Watch for the launch of that campaign, beginning in the December 2013 issue of Avenue.
The Flames have also engaged us to spread the word about the post-game experience in the Avison Young Club, where fans can go to dine, drink and recap the game without leaving the Scotiabank Saddledome. That print and digital campaign (some of the creative is shown above) is already live.
We feel both campaigns have great potential in a variety of media, and our clients in the Flames’ front office think so, too. It’s been a fun, challenging and inspiring project so far, and we can’t wait to see where it goes next.
