Avenue Magazine Reveals Calgary’s Top 40 Under 40 Class of 2013

October 31, 2013 – On November 1, 2013, Avenue will officially release the names of the Top 40 Under 40 Class of 2013 at the Jack Singer Concert Hall. This list of exceptional Calgarians under age 40 is kept strictly confidential each year until its unveiling, an event that always generates great excitement and discussion in the city.
Avenue’s Top 40 Under 40 event celebrates the city’s rising leaders, innovators and builders. This year’s group of esteemed Calgarians was selected from a record number of nominations. The elite panel of judges included Top 40 alumni, Avenue editorial staff and a cross-section of our city’s most successful citizens. To be selected as a Top 40 Under 40, individuals must not only exhibit an exceptional degree of career achievement and community commitment, but also show dedication to raising the profile of the city.
“The members of the newest Top 40 Under 40 class are truly high achievers,” says Avenue Editor Käthe Lemon. “They are entrepreneurs, artists, leaders, innovators, educators and volunteers. The Top 40 Under 40 invite-only awards ceremony will take place from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 1, at the Jack Singer Concert Hall, 205 8 Avenue SE.
