Avenue’s Best Neighbourhoods Survey Almost Closed

February 23, 2011 – There are only a few days left to tell Avenue what the difference is between a great neighbourhood and the best neighbourhood. We want to know what combinations of factors create a winning community and which neighbourhoods in Calgary excel in these areas.
Fill out the Best Neighbourhoods online survey and nominate your neighbourhood for a spot on the winning list.
This annual citywide survey, conducted in association with Leger Marketing, also takes into account data obtained from the city, such as the location of parks, recreation and other amenities, as well as crime statistics and tax values. Avenue and Leger Marketing will crunch the numbers and weight the factors to determine Calgary’s Best 15 Neighbourhoods; the results will then be published in the August 2011 issue of Avenue magazine.
“This unique survey aims to find out what Calgarians most value in a great neighbourhood, and which communities are best covering those desires,” says editor Käthe Lemon. “This year we will also be including a Best New Communities component to provide readers even more information!”
Online submissions close on February 28, 2011. Each completed survey will be entered to win a trip for 2 anywhere WestJet flies.
