RedPoint Media & Marketing Solutions is seeking a Sales Assistant to ensure our sales team has the materials and resources required to do the best possible work for our clients.

our opportunity

This is a one-year contract position to cover a maternity leave, with the possibility of staying on longer if the candidate is the right fit. This position reports to and receives direction from the VP of Sales & Marketing. The Sales Assistant is responsible for contributing to the stability and growth of sales activity by providing timely and accurate support to the sales team.

This is an opportunity to:

  • Ensure the sales team has the materials and resources required in order to build and drive revenue.
  • Support publishers and sales team with proposals and presentations as required.
  • Develop and maintain sales materials to ensure accessibility.
  • Maintain and monitor CRM database and provide data to reps and leadership group as required.
  • Ensure inbound advertising leads are appropriately dispersed throughout the sales team.
  • Manage contra as per RedPoint’s policies including inventory management.
  • Support sales team with gathering/collection of client communication such as previous negotiations.
  • Provide reports to leadership group on sales trending and availability.
  • Work with other members of the sales resource team to ensure commitment to customer service.
  • Other duties as assigned based on business unit needs.

our ideal candidate

You have a university degree in business administration, communications, marketing or an equivalent combination of education and progressive experience. Your communication skills, including writing are excellent. You’re a team player with sound judgement and discretion and you know how to manage your time, multi-task and set priorities with minimal supervision. You have a background in/or working alongside experienced sales teams. You are gifted with ideas for lead generation and marketing opportunities sales representatives can you in their pitches.

Your skills, knowledge and know-how:

  • A four-year business administration, communications or marketing degree.
  • A minimum of three years experience in a sales support role.
  • Proven ability to seek and implement changes and efficiencies.
  • Proven ability to work with a team on establishing and achieving goals.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills.
